Chapter 8 and 9 bitches !!!

Monday 29th June

So after not being fired yesterday we got up to get the bus at 0500hrs today .... we are on the stand by list still and the bus driver wouldnt let us get on the list!! We are fired for sure! What is going on! So we stayed up freaking out waiting for the office to open so we can talk to them, 0830hrs and its open, the women was nasty as anything proper bitch! Was really rude and said she wouldnt give us any contact numbers for Joe and was just being rude so we had nothing left to do but wait until the others came back.1300hrs They all cambe back from work and i asked for Joes number of Rob, apparently Joe still wants us to work ... WHAT A LEGEND! So i rang Joe and he told me to tell the office to put us on the list any probs ring him back ... So went to the office to speak to the demon bitch and she started shouting at me saying i told you not to ring him, i was like, what the fuck no you didnt you crazy bitch (didnt really say that but soooo wanted to) then she started shouting at me saying 2 people will have to be fired now as theres no more room on the farm ... like she knows anything, so shes trying to make me feel bad and shes just being pathetic so i rang up joe and he then rang the office and we were put on the list .... the people who worked there were now just complete wankers to us and were really rude to me and Caroline, hateing this hostel with a passion NOW!! So just chilled the rest of the day and got my daily bottle of Mountain Dew (This stuff is amazing im actually addicted to this drink, no wonder its banned back home, im buzzing!!) Made some food then went to bed for work the next day.

Tuesday 30th June

Work was much easier today but thats because we were only picking the red capsicums, so really didnt make much money, was sooo cold in the morning though, made a fire to keep us warm before we started work, then as soon as the sun comes out my nuts were roasting, such hard work, wish i had my camera to take some pictures of the farm! So we finished at about 1300hrs and went home for a wash, some food and to jsut chill out. 1930hrs the rota was up and me and Caroline had no work tomorrow .... WHAT!!! Rich told us that as theres so many people on the farm Me and Cazza will only be doing 3 days work a week, had to pick 100 buckets a day to break even with food and rent, wont even have a penny to go out or anything to save for my east coast adventure, considering going back to Brisbane now for some work, plus my Step sister is over there so i can see some family. Chilled out for a bit then went to a pub called the Queenslander with Cazza and Neena, had a few drinks and met some Aussie rugby players from Townsville (Way up north near Cairns) who were down for a rugby match on Friday, they were hammered and they were just buying me crap loads of drinks, was a good laugh!

Wednesday 1st July

So got up at about 1000hrs and we went to an internet cafe $5 an hour it costs!! Pricey as anything, got a few numbers or Gumtree so went and got some fish and chips, go to the park and ring some numbers, i also made Caroline try some squid as its so nice but shes too damn fussy and didnt like it. I rang a few places (Carolines a wimp and her accent is a bit strong so i thought i would put my silver tongue to use), rang about 4 places, all just employeed people, then i rang another, told this guy some right bullshit about how me and Cazza are great sales people and how i've done door to door sales before, so we have an interview on Monday in Brisbane! SAWEEEET! But Cazza was still not convinced and wasnt too sure what to do so we went back to the hostel and chilled out, watched Seven (amazing film), had food and saw the rota that everyone had a day off tomorrow, this is stupid now, if it happens again im definatly going!!

Thursday 2nd July

So got up today and as everyone had the day off we all just chilled watching films, payed for another 2nights too as we needed a solid plan on what to do, watched outlaw which is great! But still no damn Transformers!!! :( :( :( :( !!! So after just watching random stuff on T.V all day we went to the Queenslander again for $5 jugs!! It was Neena's birthday tomorrow so we decided to go out tonight. I also got two new names a korean name = Toesu (Which means i study hard, haaha i know!), a Norweigen name = Hardog and a Japanese name = Hiroshi. So after that we went to the best club in Bundy (the one of two clubs here) called Central, got wasted here and they had the best toilets ever!! I mean they were great!! When i was outside i met some Irish dudes who brought me some drinks (do not remember there names at all) and they showed me this massive mirror outside all excited (i just thought they hadnt seen a mirror that big in there life or something) Then they said look at the otherside so i went round and saw the door to the mens toilets so i went in and the urinal is on the otherside of the mirror and you can see everyone but they cant see in!! I was having so much fun pissing on peoples faces but one guy wasnt impressed as the spray back got him, but i was drunk and cracking up and he just laughed it off. So i was wasted and decided to go home as i was too drunk.

Friday 3rd July

0900hrs bout 6 people from the hostel came back (including Caroline) They went back to some random rich guys house and had loads of his alcohol! I MISSED OUT ON FREE BOOZE! So as yet again we had no work that day we just lounged around, Caz was asleep as she had hardly any sleep from partying all night so i went downstairs and chilled out, watching some films on the bed bug infested chairs (lovely i know!), after watching all the films went back upstairs to get Caz up as shes been asleep for wayyyy to long now its like 1500hrs!! When i woke her up she filled me in on last nights mis-haps, this guy offered me and Caroline a room and said he would get us work and we wouldnt have a penny! So i was weighing up my options .... go to Brisbane and do commission work or go to this guys house ..... yupp this guys house as he sounded minted!! So Caz txted him and he got back later on that evening and said he would come pick us up from the hostel tomorrow, SWEET! So chilled out that night watching some films and went to sleep.

Saturday 4th

Woke up at 0800hrs to get everything packed into our bags so we can check out of this shit hole, waited outside for about 10mins and there was this guy who said we can stay at his, he was hench, blatintly a body builder and so was his mate so we got in the 4x4 and went for a quick drive as they needed to sort some stuff out (blatintly proper dodgy shit going on), so i was now shitting myself as i didnt know these people, bout 1300hrs we went for a meal at this Cafe right in the bush called Zest, was very very posh and expensive .... they payed for it, first proper meal in a while, was great! Then we went for a 4 wheel drive along the beach, was mad! I was loving it going at like 90kmph across the beach! Later on that night we went to a bar (like the only one in this remote area), the area we were in was called Moore Park Valley and the bar was great, everyone knew everyone in this tiny place, i met some more people here who were friends of Jeff's (guys house were staying at), so we've met, Sadee, Sammy, Mary-Anne, Benji, Tim and a few others whos names i forgot :P. After being brought loads of alcohol and another meal (with the money they had they were definatly doing some dodgy shit), we then went back to Jeff's house with everyone had went through a drive through alcohol shop (yeh i know just like McDonalds but better!!) and went and drank more back at his where his house was huge and he had two staffi puppies who were tiny and little wimps for staffi's, as i've been on about Transformers so much to Caz she mentioned about it and everyone was saying it was amazing so i was angry when they almost ruined it for me as i still havnt seen the damn film!! Then Jeff came out and gave me a Transformers top which he has but never wore so i happily accepted it!! lol. After thrashing everyone at pool it was like 0400hrs so i decided to call it a night.

Sunday 5th July

Woke up at about 1100hrs, everyone was going to the bar in Moore Park again as it was 'Familly Day' there, so me and Caz were invited along but Caz was hanging as shes ONE BIG LIGHT WEIGHT! So i went by myself and met some more people (i have met so many damn people here in Australia its well hard to remember all the names!) They had loads of activities and that going on so i joined in on the egg and spoon race and won .... i won $30 bar tab so i went straight to the bar and brought crap loads of shots! BARGAIN! At about 1800hrs Jeff went back with Tim to go collect Caz so she then came out but wasnt drinking as she was hanging still (wouldnt be able to handle Southampton then), we then went to Zests again for a very posh dinner again, which was amazing!! Then went back home and watched a film and called it a night.

Been in Australia for 6 weeks!!! Already beaten most of the bets of how long i will last ... GET IN THERE AND STILL LOVING IT HERE!!

Monday 6th July

Woke up early and decided to go into Jeff's home Gym and have a little work out and a swim in his pool in his garden .... Little did we know it was Jeff's birthday today, so we were going into town as we needed to sort out some stuff out, well Caroline did, she went and brought some hair dye and we brought a cake for Jeff which i wrote happy birthday on with icing, when we went to give it to him the icing had all come off and it looked like crap, but still its the thought what counts, we then went looking around for jobs and handing in C.Vs, still bladdy nothing round here in Bundy!! After looking for jobs and Caz spending money on clothes .... AGAIN! We then went back to Jeffs were a friend he hasnt seen in a couple of years came back from england with her partner (they were lesbos .... not the fit kind either) and i was just chatting to them about home. While we were all getting ready as we were going out for Jeffs surprise birthday thing at a restaurant, (Sandy told me earlier it was a surprise), Jeff then got a phone call saying $2000 of stuff has been robbed off him (i knew it was all a joke as it was a surprise for jeff but what made me cautious was the fact that, no one blinked an eye lid when it was a mention of that much value of drugs, i want out of here now, but gotta go for a free meal first) So we went for a free meal where we met everyone we met over the weekend, after a few drinks and another posh meal it was time to leave ..... Sadee took a slash in a flower pot right by the door which had me in stitches as thats something James would do back home so i was crying my eyes out .... Went back to Sadee's penthouse flat, but Sadee was slightly drunk and drove home so in a 4WD he was chasing down Kangaroos and just driving right through the bush, Sandy tryed to climb into the front passenger seat and while he was doing that Sadee put on the brakes and Sandys head smashed right into the windscreen and cracked it, Caz was screaming the whole way through, so when we got back to Sadee's (ALIVE thankfully) we drank some more with everyone, was pretty shit as most of it was them saying how 'bad' they were, im thinking there more talk than anything, that night Jeff said he tryed getting us to stay at a friends for 9 days while he has family down but his friend had no room so he booked us in to a tent site .... i was well chuffed i want to go already! So at about 0500hrs it was called a night.

Tuesday 7th July

Everyone was hanging ... but not me as i didnt want to get wasted in an area i dont know, went for something to eat and then went back to Jeff's were as usual Caz sleeps the whole day when shes hanging! Jeff and Sadee went for a drive as they needed to get some food when his family arrive here tomorrow, i just sat watching damn T.V all day long, just loads of crap on. Then i got a txt ... Keenan, Mike, Chris, Lindsay and Natalie are in Bundaberg central, stopping off on there way down the east coast, so i got a lift of Sandy, Caroline didnt want to come as she was still hanging! So i met all them guys and just filled them in on my adventures so far with soooo little money and was told about the east coast which sounds like sooooo much fun!! They also met Marissa, shes a girl who i was really good friends with back in senior school and shes here in Australia so its a well small world after all!! After having a few drinks and plenty of laughs catching up with them and hearing some very funny stories, was very emotional as they all are amazed about how long i have lasted with practically no cash, i was feeling shit all week until i met them as everything just seemed to be going wrong, they were even mentioning how im always so happy and cherpy and i love it when people say that as so far i've had little tantrums but i've kept a strong head and pushed through as i know if i keep trying things will work out for me soon, im so close to seeing Ayres rock, everything down the east coast including barrier reef, seeing new years on Sydney harbour bridge and more. Im here and if i go home now i will regret it for the rest of my life and may never have the chance of coming back. So after a few drinks and a chat i went and crashed at there hostel (another free night on my list :D)

Wednesday 8th July

The 'East Coast 5' (they named themselfs that), are leaving at 1000hrs today to carry on down, but its 0700hrs and Caroline has been dropped off at the camp site and needs the key to get into are shitty little tea-pee tent, im like 45mins over town, so with my ever growing hair being in a mess in the morning (as the boys call it back home 'rooster hair') i walked back to the caravan site, i stayed up for a bit and chatted to Caz but i was shattered so i fell asleep until about 1300hrs. When i woke up, i rang loads of farms to see if they had any work .... NO LUCK! So we went on an adventure into CBD (Central Buisness District .... City Centre basically) of Bundy to get some food and have a look around for some sort of work around here .... nothing. So we went back to the tent and chilled out, i was talking to Caz about the Illuminate as shes never heard of them, so we were up for hours talking about loads of random paranormal stuff, which was well fun! I then tryed going to sleep ...... Caz has a sleeping bag and i havent as i cant afford one, o lord help me its so cold, im actually wearing every item of clothing in my backpack to keep me warm, so i had a really bad sleep.

Thursday 9th July

Made Caz get up like an hour earlier than me as she takes sooooo damn long to get ready its unbelievable!! As some people know i get really frustrated when we have a long day and someone takes agessss to get ready, especially as we need a damn job! Spoke to Jordan whos in Sydney at the moment, choping and changing between jobs and is getting an apartment with some mates soon (lucky twat), and spoke to Daryl whos been having a real tough time as hes on his tourist Visa (means he can only stay for 3months and cannot work) so after pursuading him back in Cairns to get a damn Working holiday visa he flys out to New Zealand to apply for it as you have to leave the country, so thats the last bit of his money gone! To top it off one of his best mates from back home passed away so he was really down about that so i stayed chatting to him for a while trying to make sure he just doesnt get drunk and that by himself, wish i was there so i could help him out! So after looking for jobs and me going to the Library looking for the book Demon and Angels as i well want to read it now after last nights discussions. Me and Caz were pretty stressed out now considering there is no work and its stupid .... we went and got some goon and drank most of it and decided once we were drunk to go out, we went to Queenslander and then tryed getting into a proper amazing club which has the mirror urinals in but as Caz lost her I.D back in Sydney we couldnt get in but no worries we went back to Queenslander were in about 20mins some wierd guys came up to us and were being extremly vulgar about women and trying to act hard and that, so i almost got into a fight and one of them was grilling Caz on where we are staying so we decided to get out of there quick! Took us about 20mins to walk back and we were constantly looking behind our shoulders just incase they were following and they wernt so as soon as we got back we just crashed out asleep, the alcohol actually helped me sleep alot more tonight too so i was greatfull for that!!

Friday 10th July

Caz didnt get up till late afternoon so i went for a little adventure around the area just checking things out and seeing if theres anything nice about Brissy .... nope ..... no jobs .... nothing to see really .... this is actually hell in Australia .... When Caz got up we went on a journey to try and find a job centre, we found one called Grunt, they employ people for Agriculture and Construction work ... GREAT! So we went in there, im all happy as i can actually work, get payed and get my 2nd year visa ..... NO JOBS!! Well screw you then, great i want to leave i want to go to Brisbane so badly now, as its apparently the best place to work, plus my mums fella's daughter is there who i get along with so i want to go see her as i get to see something of home then! I just want to see so many people from home as i miss seeing faces and just having fun with everyone from back home, dont realise how much you really have until your away from it all, not that i never appreciated any of my friends or family as i love them all to pieces but i just appreciate them so much more and makes me think how friends and family really made my life so much easier, but this is why im out here to become more independant and hopefully re-pay though's favours some day! We also went to the doctors today as Caz was complaining about her head hurting and that its scabbing up, i was just telling her to stop being a sissy and its prob just bed bugs ..... nope she has had an allergic reaction to the hair dye she brought at the beginning of the week .... whoopppps, pretty lucky im not in medicine really!! Later on we went to an internet cafe today too as i wanted to message people and also find out the situation with Carl and Emma's baby ... i want to know wether i will be having a Niece or a Nephew ..... So i checked it out I HAVE A NIECE!!! Woooooo, im so happy for them ..... because the lil one is going to have King Rob in her life, haha jokes. Shame im going to miss like 4 months out of her life, but im getting updated on scans .... im not sure wether she has emma's or Carls eyes! lol. So being my typical nosey self i looked around the cafe and saw that directly behind me there is like a kid no older than 15 .... looking at some porn, i was in stitches, Caz was disgusted but i wanted to high five him for the guts of doing that in an internet cafe, lol. After staying here till about 2200hrs we then went back to the tea-pea and went to sleep ...... well i couldnt sleep as it was sooo cold, so just layed there doing so so so so so many suduku puzzles, until i heard some freaky noise outside the tent which scared the crap out of me .... it actually sounded like that kid of the grudge, doing some long croaking noise, it definatly wasnt a frog, i thought i was a possum but no possum makes that sort of noise, so i thought Caz would like to hear it, so i woke her up ..... bad idea, she was shaking and freaking out so badly .... we then clocked on why it was outside, we have food in the tent and its trying to get in, Caz starts freaking out, shaking and practically crying as she thinks its in the tent so i grabbed my hair spray to beat the crap out of what ever it is if it comes flying at me!! So i turned on the light and couldnt find it, about 10mins later the noise stopped and we went to sleep.

Saturday 11th July

Got up and got ready at about 1200hrs to sort out where we are going to stay from monday morning as our time here at this lovely tea-pea is at an end ...... YES!! I can actually get into a nice bed again!!! So we went looking at options while looking around for some work, nothing still, but im not giving up hope, im going to carry on and keep my head up as something is bound to turn up soon! After not finding anything and spending the whole day looking for work we found nothing, so we decided to call it an early night as we wanted to check out the beach tomorrow. So another really cold and practically sleepless night for me!!

Sunday 12th July

Got up at about 1000hrs, okay later than what we wanted! Got our beach gear on and decided to go check out this beach, no busses were running so we decided to see how much a taxi would cost $30 .... yeh taxi driver can ummm yeh rob someone else, i wanted to walk there but Caz didnt want to as its about an hour and a half walk, but i was well up for it. So we then decided to walk back to our campsite but along the sort of scenic route .... the river, then we came across a miny little public zoo which is free, walked around there and there was loads of diffrent types of birds, such as your normal Cockatills, Love birds and that, we saw a couple of Emu's (the bird which is well dangerous in the wild and have been known to kill!), an Ostrich and a couple of joey's. Saw got plenty of pictures from today as i havnt had the chance to take many pictures at the moment, we went and got something to eat and then went on the internet for a bit and called it a night ...
